A Nomination bracelet starts as a plain stainless-steel band. There is no clasp — it holds its shape under tension and simply slips over the wrist.
Every charm clips onto that band by hand. No tool, no jeweller, no appointment. Take them off, move them around, swap them onto a different bracelet years later — the charms outlast whatever you first put them on.
That is the whole idea. You are not buying a finished piece of jewellery. You are starting one, and adding to it for as long as there are things worth marking.

An idea from the 1980s that never needed changing

Florence, the early 1980s. Paolo Gensini had an idea that sounds obvious now and wasn't then: instead of casting a bracelet as one finished piece, build it from separate links the wearer chooses themselves. Steel bands, gold letters, held together by a spring.
Forty years on the idea hasn't changed — only the range has. There are now thousands of charms to pick from, still made in Sesto Fiorentino just outside Florence, and every decorated link is stamped on the back so you know it's the real thing.
It is, quietly, one of the few pieces of jewellery that is genuinely different on every wrist.

How much is a Nomination bracelet?
A stainless-steel base bracelet is €28. Yellow gold and rose gold are €45. Charms are bought individually and start at €25, with most falling between €27 and €54.
So a first bracelet with a couple of charms usually lands somewhere around €80–€120 — and it grows from there, at whatever pace suits.
Does the bracelet come with a charm?
Yes. Every base bracelet we sell already carries the Nomination branded link. Everything you add after that is your choice — there is no set you have to buy into.
Can I add to it later, or move charms between bracelets?
Yes to both, and that is rather the point. Charms clip on and off by hand — no tool, no jeweller, no appointment. Take them off, rearrange them, or move them onto a different bracelet years later.
The charms outlast whatever you first put them on.
Can I wear it in the shower or the sea?
Best not to. Nomination jewellery is not waterproof — take it off before showering, bathing or swimming, and put it on after perfume, cream or sunscreen rather than before.
A dry, soft cloth is all it needs to keep its shine. Every piece carries a two-year manufacturer’s guarantee.
