Yes. Lab grown diamonds are optically, chemically and physically identical to mined diamonds and test as real diamonds. Even a trained gemmologist cannot tell them apart by eye — only specialist laboratory equipment can.

Two methods are used. HPHT (high pressure, high temperature) presses a carbon seed under extreme heat and pressure; CVD (chemical vapour deposition) grows a diamond from a carbon-rich gas. Both produce a fully crystalline diamond.
